Cross county skiing at the Kronplatz

Locals and guests just love this old-fashioned winter sport. However, sledging is fun and is not only popular amongst children! The traditional way of sledging is still to pull the sledge up the hill by yourself, and then reward yourself with a fun downhill ride. The Puster Valley offers numerous beautiful toboggan runs with splendid panoramic views.

All those who like it more comfortable, can choose a toboggan run where you can ascend by cable car. All ski rental outlets and valley stations rent out sleighs. Sledging is also fun at night time. Once a week guest sledging is organised in the village of Valdaora.
